Hi, there! I’m Hilary Elizabeth Margitich—writer, explorer, daydreamer, and lifelong believer in the magic of stories.

I grew up with wild, curly red hair, imaginary friends, and a heart full of curiosity. Today, I channel that energy into writing for kids—books that celebrate brave women, fascinating cultures, surprising science, animal pals, sports, and all the real-world wonders that make childhood such an incredible adventure.

My mission? To inspire today’s kids… and empower them to see just how bright, strong, and capable they are.

Thank you for visiting—dive in and explore my books, upcoming events, and writing adventures!
