Author Visits

Bring me to your school, library, bookstore, or event!

I love connecting with young readers, educators, librarians, and fellow writers. Sharing my passion for storytelling, nonfiction, curiosity, and creativity is one of my favorite parts of being an author.

I’m available for:

  • School visits (PreK-Grade 8 programs)
  • Library events & community programs
  • Bookstore storytimes and launch events
  • Conference presentations & writing retreats
  • Workshops for educators and writers

Whether I’m talking about my books, exploring the research behind them, or helping young writers discover their own voices, my goal is always the same: to inspire kids to ask big questions and see their own power in the world.

I live in the Los Angeles area, but am geographically flexible. In fact, I regularly travel back to visit my loved ones on the east coast!

School Visit Options:

I offer flexible programming for preschools, elementary schools, and middle schools. All presentations can be tailored to your grade levels, curriculum goals, and event schedule.

Assembly Presentation (30–45 minutes)

A lively, interactive talk that is perfect for large groups, schoolwide author days, and literacy celebrations.

Classroom Workshops (25–40 minutes)

More hands-on and writing-focused. Best for small groups or single-grade sessions.

Small-Group or Book Club Chats (20–30 minutes)

A cozy conversation with your most enthusiastic readers, student leaders, or writing clubs. Q&A encouraged!

Virtual Visit (20–45 minutes)

Perfect for classrooms anywhere in the world. Includes a short presentation, student Q&A, and optional writing mini-lesson

Libraries & Bookstores:

I love partnering with libraries and bookstores for storytimes, themed events, writing workshops for kids, and book launches and signings.

My offerings can be tailored to fit your space, audience, and interests.

Conferences & Retreats:

I am available for keynotes, panel discussions, breakout sessions, craft talks, and workshops for writers or educators.
